Past President honoured

Gaynor Austin, IATUL President 2004 – 2006 was made a Member of the Order of Australia in the Queen’s Birthday awards in June. She received the award for service to library and information management, particularly through the integration and management of new and evolving resources available in university libraries, and executive roles with a range of professional associations.

Gaynor retired from the position of Library Director at Queensland University of Technology in Brisbane, Australia in 2006.
