#SaveUkraine

IATUL joins IFLA and other international associations in deploring the military aggression by Russia currently underway in Ukraine.

This action has caused significant loss of life, including children, created a humanitarian crisis, and placed at risk the rich cultural heritage of Ukraine. IATUL members are joining the international library community efforts to protect unique Ukrainian research and knowledge, and we are reaching out to our member in Ukraine to offer support.

We encourage IATUL members to take similar action to support our Ukraine colleagues, assist Ukrainian refugees and share accurate information about the current situation in Ukraine.

Please see the Ukrainian Library Association appeal for ways to assist.

IATUL is an association that promotes the advancement of university libraries, access to knowledge and information literacy.
