IATUL Strategic Directions Action Plan 2024-2028
The IATUL Strategic Directions have been developed in consultation with the IATUL member community at conferences and seminars during 2022-2023. In order to articulate the way IATUL will work towards these objectives, each Strategic Direction has five goals, now with associated actions in a Strategic Action Plan.
The newest version of the Action Plan can be found here:
This Action Plan was developed by an IATUL Board Working Group (C. Eckman, C. Pang, J.K. Vijayakumar and K. Jones), using a framework of ideas and feedback from the IATUL Board and Special Interest Groups during 2024.
It describes the ways IATUL will meet its objectives through detailed steps with accountability and increased efficiency. The Strategic Action Plan will be reviewed annually, and it is subject to change as new requirements and opportunities arise.
Key themes running through the Action Plan include:
- Continuing to cement the core mission of IATUL by supporting the development of our membership through:
- events such as the Annual Conference, and partnering with other organisations for shared event participation
- opportunities to collaborate with other IATUL members through SIGs and through research grants
- networking on themed topics within existing and new SIGs
- A focus on leadership development, particularly through the establishment of a new Special Interest Group - SIG Leadership
- Increased organisational efficiency through updating systems for communication and resource sharing
We value the continued engagement and input of our IATUL members!
