IATUL Special Interest Group for Metrics and Research Impact

The IATUL Special Interest Group for Library Services related to metrics and research impact (SIG MaRI) was established at the beginning of 2018. Its main purpose is to enable and encourage ongoing international collaboration and sharing of experience, knowledge and resources among IATUL members in relation to:

  • bibliometrics in the context of research services in academic libraries and
  • library services to help optimise research impact for individual researchers and institutions

Meetings are held virtually on a bi-monthly basis and where possible will meet and present our work at the Annual IATUL conference.
