Personal information that, where applicable, you submit to us on contact forms, registration forms, or similar web pages on our web servers is accepted only with your consent and is used solely for the purpose stated on the forms. Please take notice of the relevant instructions on the forms.
The transfer of personal data to state institutions and authorities only occurs within the scope of mandatory national legislation or if the transfer is necessary in the case of attacks on our IT infrastructure which are subject to legal enforcement or criminal prosecution. A transfer for other purposes or to third parties or for publication will not take place.
If you access this website or other web-based services, you provide data to our web server via your internet browser. During the ongoing communication over the connection between your internet browser and the web server, the following data will be temporarily recorded in a log file:
- IP address of the requesting computer
- Date and time of access
- Name, URL, and volume of transmitted data in the requested file
- Access status (requested file transfer, not found, etc.)
- Data identifying the browser software and operating system (if transmitted from the requesting browser)
- Websites accessed (if transmitted from the requesting browser)
The processing of the data in this log file is as follows:
Log entries are made anonymous by abbreviation of the IP address. This is done on www.iatul.org immediately, and within 7 days on our other web servers.
The log records are subject to continuous automatic analysis in order to detect attacks on the Web server and react accordingly.
In certain cases, namely reported malfunctions, errors and security incidents, analysis is conducted manually.
The anonymized logs are used to create and access statistics.
We use the locally operated open source software Google Analytics for web statistics on www.iatul.org. The web server for www.iatul.org is operated at Profihost GmbH in a managed webserver instance, commissioned by GLOBIT GmbH.
We save so-called session cookies on your hard drive which are enabled only for the duration of your visit to our website. The session cookie is used to make your settings available to you for the duration of the session.
- The visitor cookie of the Google Analyticsweb statistics on www.iatul.org de is enabled for 90 days.
- At the end of your visit, or the lifespan of the cookies, they are automatically deleted from your hard drive.
Electronic communication via e-mail or web forms, whose content is transmitted unencrypted, may have security vulnerabilities. Expert internet users can, for example, intercept and see e-mails to IATUL staff members. If we receive an e-mail from you, or you tell us your e-mail address, we assume that we have the right to contact you by e-mail. Otherwise, we refer you explicitly to other forms of communication (telephone or postal service).
If you send us an e-mail, your e-mail address is used only for correspondence with you.
With our web forms, data transmission over the internet is encrypted (using SSL) to prevent access by unauthorized persons.
On our website, we use various online forms where personal data are collected for different purposes. In all forms, only the personal data that are absolutely necessary are collected. Usually, the personal data will be stored in a database and is only accessible to the IATUL staff members responsible. Your information will not be disclosed to third parties, unless this is explicitly stated in the form.
You have a right to information about your personal data stored by us. You also have the right to block or delete this data, and to correct inaccurate data. If you wish to exercise these rights, please direct your requests to the IATUL Office via our contact form or e-mail.
