The 2024 Forum on the Future of World Academic Libraries (WAL): the future library with digital intelligence, openness and connectivity was held in Beijing, China, from 24th -27th June.

IATUL offers a grant of up to 4,000 Euro to staff from member libraries to investigate and provide outcomes on current issues of importance to IATUL members. The application period for the year 2025 starts on the 1st July and will end on the 30th September 2024.

IATUL is calling for candidates from Asia/Pacific as well as Europe and the UK to serve on its Board of Directors. Nomination deadline: 15th September 2024

On Friday, 29 November, from 9 am to 5 pm, the Post-Conference Leadership Institute will take place, led by Fenella G. France and Elliott Shore.

To encourage global participation the IATUL Travel Grant Programme provides financial assistance to library and/or information professionals from developing countries to attend the annual IATUL Conference.
