Registration is officially open for the 46th Annual International Association of University Libraries Conference, proudly hosted by the University of Johannesburg Library, taking place from 15–19 November 2026 in Johannesburg, South Africa.

IATUL offers a grant of up to 4,000 Euro to staff from member libraries to investigate and provide outcomes on current issues of importance to IATUL members.

IATUL General Assembly Nov 4, 2025 - Dr Charles D. Eckman, Dean of libraries and university librarian of the University of Miami - Otto G. Richter Library, United States, was honoured at the 45th Annual Conference of IATUL, in Shanghai, China, with the honorary lifetime membership.

Traditionally our best poster prize is awarded during the annual IATUL conference, which took place for the 45th time in 2025.
